Update!

dear Ones,

I'm posting this page to update you --

As of 2005 I'm no longer holding the container as NY area NVC coordinator. I do still offer my services as an NVC coach and trainer, and am available for ongoing teleclasses.  If you'd like NVC coaching or training, please call me at the toll-free number below.

Meanwhile, the bulk of my workshops and coaching now offer powerful, lasting transformation by combining NVC with 5 other key components. Examples include:
        - NVC + the body + movement
        - NVC + practical spirituality
        - NVC + manifesting your dreams
To continue receiving event invitations from me, or to learn more about my Integrated Coaching Approach and the other 5 Aspects - please email me at my new email address - email: gail at integratedcoaches dot com.
And of course, if you are looking for an ongoing coach relationship and would like a FREE COACHING SESSION, call me (toll- free number below)

I'd like to deeply thank the many of you whose participation lead to the incredible growth NYNVC enjoyed during our 3+ years together. For a list of what we accomplished, scroll down.

For more information about NY area NVC coordinators, of which there are now several (and more and more support every day), please see CNVCs' coordinator search pages or go to www.cnvc.org.

Wishing you all a delicious 2005 and beyond --

I look forward to relaxing, playing, discovering, creating and heart-connecting with you again!

Warmly,
Gail

Accomplishments

In June 2002, one of my mentors, Miki Kashtan, warned me that the role of Coordinator (done well) is a mostly invisible role. Thank you so much Miki, and so many of the rest of you, for your unending support and encouragement. I'd like to also  share my deep appreciation to many people whose hours of empathy, event support, and encouragement also helped all this happen -- Denise Lalonde, Martha Lasley, Eric Baierlein, Curtis Watkins, Gail Epstein, Michael Shell, Lea Parayno, Jeyanthy Siva, Julie Greene, Deva Luna, Meganwind Eoyong and Nancy Kahn...and thank you Marshall for your kind words of encouragement over several conversations.

And to the community - thank you thank you - Everyone! Together, we accomplished so much!

Please join me in celebrating our achievements, including:

  • Manhattan's first sustained practice group - ran 36 consecutive weeks while I coordinated it in 2002 - it continues to this day
    ....
  • Growth from a 10-person practice group to a contact list of over 3000 people in 2002 alone, up to 4000 people in 2004
    ....
  • NYCs first event with Marshall Rosenberg in over 20 years, enjoying participation of over 400 people from across the East Coast
    ....
  • Dozens of NVC workshops, practice groups and events each year in NY, NJ, CT, MA and PA
    ....
  • Over 16 NY-area NVC practice groups created and supported
    ....
  • Internet presence and ongoing community network through Yahoo's EastCoastNVC and www.nynvc.org
    ....
  • Six NYNVC Newsletters published, distributing NVC tips and consciousness to over 4000 people each edition
    ....
  • Hundreds of Tri-State teens introduced to NVC, via events including:
    • 2003 Peacemakers Training Institute
    • mediation within the NYC public school system
    • parent-child NVC coaching relationships
    • Hundreds of hours of free empathy support provided to NVC practitioners across the US

And now, the NY and TriState area now enjoys a fully self-sustaining NVC community!

NVC distinctions align deeply with my work, my professional development, and my personal practice, so I'll continue to offer many workshops, teleclasses, and coaching sessions that include NVC consciousness. For even more fun, come experience the power of alliance between all parts of yourself -- mind, body, heart, emotion, needs, spirit and action. To receive continued updates about any upcoming events I offer, email me, call me toll-free at 1.877.535.5438 or click here.

Wishing you the very best of fulfillment, Self-actualization, and joy for 2005 and beyond!

Warmly,
Gail Taylor - NY area NVC Coordinator 2001-2004
Integrated Coach

What is NVC?

Nonviolent CommunicationTM (NVC), based on the teachings and book by Marshall Rosenberg Ph.D., guides us to reframe how we express ourselves and how we hear others, by focusing our consciousness on what we are observing, feeling, needing, and requesting. By understanding and acknowledging the human needs that underlie everyone's actions, we can create a shared basis for connection, cooperation, and more globally — peace. For more information, visit www.cnvc.org or see www.nonviolentcommunication.com .
